251 New Homes Funded
The HFA is pleased to announce that this week’s Credit Committees approved 8 new loan applications totalling €40.7 million, to finance the development and acquisition of 251 new homes.
This brings the total year to date approvals to €232 million, funding over 1,560 new homes, an increase of over 80% on the full year 2015.
The HFA approved its first loan application for people with disabilities transitioning from congregated settings to HAIL (Housing Association for Integrated Living). We hope to finance many more projects in this area of need in the future.
The HFA would also like to congratulate Foscadh Housing Association on becoming the fifteenth Approved Housing Body to receive Certified Body status. We look forward to working with them and financing new housing projects to support their work in the social housing area.
